Sonny Gray will close out the short series on Wednesday against right-handed pitcher Sam Gaviglio (2-1, 2.51 ERA). In his last outing against Toronto on April 1 Gray mowed down eight Blue Jays batters and allowed just one earned run.
The Yankees look to take two from the struggling Jays, which have won just five of their last 20 games.
After this short trip to Toronto, the Bronx Bombers return to New York to take on the New York Mets at Citi Field.
