America’s pastime began this year on April 5, the iconic Wrigley Field served as the start of the season, and with it the start of our quest for glory on the interleague games different from years before we have the schedule format, our teams will play two three-game series, one home, one away (6 games) two two-game series again one played at home and one away (8 games) with one of those matchups played on the same week back-to-back, and a single three-game series to be played against each team for the last two (6 games) one home one away.
To add excitement to the regular season final day all games will start at the same time, making it so the team’s fate would not be decided by an earlier result, all results would happen almost simultaneously.
So far this season we have seen some teams struggle completely with starting rotations, batting orders and even entire squads that have yet to find their way.
We will see on coming weeks how our favorite teams try to find their own spot in the battle for 1st place, because 162 games is a long way, we hit and passed the one-quarter mark for the season last week.
