Week 3 of the preseason concluded just a few days ago now it’s time for the start of the regular season, each single moment in the field can be vital for several players on their way to a career in the NFL, others already have a guaranteed place in the League ranks, but their performances these preparatory matches may indicate what level we have reached before the kickoff. We discuss some players who did a great job after Week 3 and may finish the season on a high note.
Sam Bradford – Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback
Is Will Bradford becoming a franchise QB? During his tenure with the Rams we saw flashes of what he could do but with little ability to stay healthy complicated his success with the franchise. in Philadelphia seems to have found, not only with his health, but with his talent for football. Chip Kelly’s aid seems to come in handy.
Alex Smith – Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback
taking care of the ball is what Alex Smith should be doing way more this year, and let’s face it, is what he does best. Since his arrival to Kansas City, Smith has become a disciplined QB, with a healthy Jamaal Charles and a better WR body, Smith’s coming season may end up being a landmark in his career.
Tyrod Taylor – Buffalo Bills Quarterback
Third week of the preseason and former Baltimore continues to perform at a high level, and I must say, not only for Taylor, but also for EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel, although the fight for the starting quarterback position is already closed for the Bills, some three weeks ago Buffalo’s state was one of the worst QB situations in the league, today it looks completely different.
Zach Zenner – Detroit Lions Running Back
With an injured Bell, the unknown Zach Zenner got his chance this week and took full advantage, in just 8 attempts Zenner got 85 yards and a touchdown, if this was not just a fluke then Zenner could become a wonderful and viable choice for the Lions running game.
