With the NFC Championship right around the corner, pay per head agents are clamoring to get down their players bets. It seems that everyone has a theory on which team will take the NFC championship and, as a result, bets are all over the place. Similarly, the Seattle Seahawks are getting some much-needed love as of late, thanks in large part to new quarterback Matt Flynn and the fact that running back Marshawn Lynch is sticking around.
And, finally, one more team that fans are expressing belief in is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have a first-year coach around for the season Greg Schiano, but that can’t be held against them. Strong quarterback Josh Freeman and equally good running backs LeGarrette Blount and Doug Avery have what it takes to win big. Plus, newbie S. Mark Baron just might be able to get the defense up to par. Other players who have lots of promise and are expected to do the team proud include Vincent Jackson (wide receiver), and Carl Nicks (offensive line).
