Both bettors and bookies are currently licking their chops as the countdown continues with only about 100 days left before the NFL kicks off the 2014 season!
Keeping up with this year’s blockbuster trades, free agency as well as the 2014 NFL draft has been a daunting task in itself for both bookies and bettors. Offshore bookies currently have the defending champions Seattle Seahawks listed as the favorite currently at 6 to 1 to win the 2015 Super Bowl! Mind boggling as it is the Denver Broncos are listed at 8 to 1 after last year’s thrashing by the those same Seahawks.
This year’s road to the Superbowl will have many twisting turns and side stories and should be one with many surprises. Who will be this year’s standouts and bust outs remains to be seen but one thing is for sure is that it will be exciting!
Bookies predict the Oakland Raiders to be this year’s long shot to win the 2015 Superbowl and as they are currently 225 to 1 to do so. To add insult to injury the Raiders didn’t impress anyone with their draft picks this year. It could be a very long year for Raider fans.
The Cleveland Browns will now be led by quarterback Johnny Manziel as they were able to surprisingly pick him up at number 22 in the 1st round. Most critics had Manziel listed to go within the top 5 ever since talk of the draft started. The Browns are banking on Manziel’s magic to save their franchise and have already sold out all of their home games for the 2015 season! Offshore bookies have the Browns currently listed at 75 to 1 to win the 2015 Superbowl.
Critics say that this year’s dark horse currently listed at 50 to 1 to win the Super bowl just might be the Detroit Lions. The Lions hope that a coaching change might be just what the doctor order to get them in the playoffs this year, they certainly are a talented group but can they win when it counts remains the question.
The Chicago Bears are also a team bettors might want to look at this season. The Bears are currently listed at 30 to 1 to win the Super bowl and have revamped their roster on defense adding college standouts Kyle Fuller, Ego Ferguson, Willaim Sutton as well as adding future hall of famer Jared Allen to the new monsters of the midways roster!
