The Philadelphia 76ers opened the 2018 postseason with a 130-103 Game 1 victory over the Miami Heat to improve their winning streak to 17 games. The Heat will look to bounce back in Game 2 in the City of Brotherly Love tonight before the series moves to Florida on Thursday.
The 76ers shot 18-for-28 from three-point range while recording 34 assists and only 10 turnovers in the triumph. With their Game 1 victory, the Sixers have now won 24 of their past 25 at Wells Fargo Center.
Shooting guard Marco Belinelli led the Sixers with 25 points, while power forward Kelly Olynyk led the Heat with 26. Philadelphia’s Ersan Ilyasova was the top rebounder of the night with 14.
Joel Embiid, who missed the series opener due to an orbital fracture, could return in either Game 2 or 3. Philadelphia has won nine straight without Embiid.
