As the season advances in the NFL and thus there are more interesting games. Between these meetings, the Bears victory over the Cardinals, here some comments after watching the game.
I believe in Carson
Arizona will take on everything and everyone all while Carson Palmer is in the field. Not only do each of the players believe so, most importantly, the team and staff, and will certainly be a headache for any team that has them in front for the remainder of the season, even if that season draws to continue in January. Palmer found today a leading contender offensive (against the Bears defense is not so surprising), throwing four touchdown passes, including three to veteran Larry Fitzgerald.
The Bears continue to break records
In any activity, breaking records is something to be proud of, Chicago franchise since last year has been dedicated to breaking the worst records in history. Since receiving yards, points received, etc, even as today, where the 170 yards in penalties was a brand new record and also the 48 points received, the most ever seen at Soldier Field. All this is an example of the disaster left by Marc Trestman as head coach and the general manager Phil Emery until last year.
Jay Cutler out
When your best option in the quarterback position is Jay Cutler, you got a problem, you have another when you have to put him as a starter and behind him a billionaire contract and one larger problem arises when he gets injured. Chicago was competing well until Cutler threw an interception and was hurt on the play. Going forward, the Bears attack, led by Jimmy Clausen failed to do anything else, even after two turnovers in Arizona, where they only managed 6 points.
The improved running game Arizona
Between Chris Johnson and David Johnson, the Cardinals managed more than 100 rushing yards and a touchdown. The best thing about all this? the holder Andre Ellington is still injured and the team manages to still move the ball in a decent manner, which will become much more important when Arizona faces more powerful teams in the future, taking pressure off of veteran Carson Palmer and making this offensive a far more dangerous one.
