Benjamin, picked in the first round of the 2014 Draft, was coming off a remarkable first season in the league, in which he set marks in the history of the team as a rookie, his 73 receptions for 8,008 yards and nine touchdowns with this injury and Stephen Hill’s, who was cut by the franchise soon after his physical setback back in April this year, the air strike in the scheme of Ron Rivera is poised to fall to Devin Funchess, a second-round pick this year .
The Carolina Panthers preseason continues to waddle in the path of disaster.
