Bookies know just how much work and effort it takes to build up and then to maintain their player base. Once bookmakers have their players in order, then they have to jump through all the necessary hoops to keep them happy. They also have to ensure that their clients are betting on a regular basis as well as paying and collecting on time and recruiting new players. All this work can be next to impossible for one person to do on his or her own, and that’s why using pay per head services has quickly become so popular. The bottom line is bookies that do end up using PPH agencies will tell you that they wish they would have done so sooner! Not only is the burden of the day to day grind immediately erased for bookies, but they also get all of their work done much faster & more efficiently. Unfortunately, though, not every PPH service is going to come through on its end of the bargain. Here are a few quick indicators that you’re dealing with the wrong service, so if you spot any of the red flags listed below, that’s your cue to find a different, more reliable, and all around better service.
- Problems with Redundancy: Bookies need to steer clear of any pay per head service that doesn’t provide them with truly redundant phones & Internet service! If you’re dealing with a PPH agency that has trouble keeping their website up or if the call center is always unreachable before game time, this is a huge problem for obvious reasons. Your players are not going to be able to get through and get their bets in, which costs you money. Furthermore, if this happens too often, your players are likely to take their business elsewhere, thereby destroying the client base you’ve worked so hard to build.
- Working with a PPH service that also has a post up division: There is no reason for pay per head services to do any “double dipping.” What we mean by this is that your service should not be running or be partnered up or sharing space nor services with a post-up sportsbook. A post-up sportsbook will use clever ways, like promises of big deposit bonuses, to easily lure away your hard earned clients. Unfortunately, some bookies find this out the hard way and can quickly end up losing their livelihood! Obviously, a pph service that operates this way can’t really do what it promises too when it has another agenda at heart.
- Poor Service: When your players are subjected to poor service, they aren’t going to complain to the agency. No, they’re going to complain to you! Of course, you’re not going to be able to fix issues that are being caused by no fault of your own, which can lead to frustration and anger from your players. You know where that leads—to your clients seeking out other bookies. Don’t settle for poor service. Even if you have to pay a little bit more to get the service you and your clients deserve, it will be well worth it in the end!
