Bookies are banking on a big baseball betting season as things are heating up as West Coast teams like the Dodgers and Angels are spending mega millions to land some of MLBs biggest free agents.
Any pitcher going up against the new look Los Angeles Angels will indeed have their work cut out for them facing their big 4. They will be going up against a lineup the features the west coast version of murderers row starting with the American League Rookie of the Year Mike Trout.
In Mike Trout’s rookie year with the Angels he hit .326, he had over 560 at bats. Trout hit 30 home runs with 83 RBIs and even stole 49 bases…not bad for a rookie!
Mark Trumbo batted .268 and hit 32 long balls with 95 RBIs. There had been rumors that Trumbo might be traded but the Angels quickly squashed those and will indeed be a starter next year!
After a blockbuster trade from the Cardinals to the Angels, Albert Pujols started out slower than he, the Angel organization and even the Angel fans had hoped. But as in years past Pujols delivered and finished with 30 dingers and over 100 RBIs for the 11th time in his 12 year major league career!
Now enter baseballs bad boy Josh Hamilton who just signed a 5 year 125 million dollar contract with the Angels. Hamilton will add more power to an already lethal lineup. Last year Hamilton hit 43 long balls and had 128 RBIs.
Pujols & Hamilton are probably the closest duo in comparison to the infamous Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig now let’s see if they can live up to all the hype!
