This Sunday we will see 10 NFL football games that will go off with a spread of 4 points or less. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are on a roll after whipping the Saints in Denver last Sunday and picked to beat Andy Dalton and the Bengals on Sunday morning, but only by 3.5 points. The Miami Dolphins are at 4-3 for the season and will host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. Luck has been very impressive in his rookie year but the handicappers are making the Dolphins favorites by 2 points. The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns. Baltimore will go into the game favored by 3.5 points.
Perhaps the most interesting quarterback matchup of the day will take place in Washington when Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers come to town to take on Robert Griffin III and the Redskins. So far this season Newton has thrown for 1701 yards and RGIII for 1778 and both rookie quarterbacks are known to be excellent runners when called upon. The Redskins are favored, but only by 3 points. Second year quarterback Matt Stafford and his Detroit Lions will take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville with the Lions going in at minus 4.
Controversial quarterback Jay Cutler and the Bears of Chicago will go down to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. The Bears are flying high at 6-1 while the Titans are off to a shaky start at 3-5. Oddsmakers say Bears by 3.5 points.
Seattle is known as a tough venue for other NFL teams. The Minnesota Vikings (5-3) will play the Seahawks (4-4) in Seattle this Sunday afternoon with the Seattle favored by 4 points and the Oakland Raiders will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the Raiders favored by just 1.5 points.
Big Ben Roethlisberger and his Steelers go to the Big Apple to take on Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Eli & Co. are 6-2 so far and will go in as 3 point favorites. The Atlanta Falcons are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL. They will host a Dallas Cowboy team that is intent on upsetting that record on Sunday. The Matt Ryan and the Falcons are unanimous favorites by 4 points.
Finally, on Monday Night Football, the beleaguered New Orleans Saints will play host to the Eagles of Philadelphia and try to redeem what is left of their season. This time the Saints are actually favored by 3 points. Go figure!
