It is that almost that time of the year again when unsatisfied bookies get the itch and will soon be on the move in search of a new pay per head shop. It happens every year about this time, which happens to be right after the NBA & NHL playoffs. Unsatisfied bookies will either be searching for better service or price or both. Bookies need to always ask for a free trial of the service they are considering so that they can base their opinion on facts rather that a smooth sales pitch! During the trial period consider the following facts before making a decision:
Redundancy; Choosing a redundant pay per head service will assure bookies that they will have minimal downtime. A top service will always have redundant phones, internet service and electrical services. If the bookie shop that you are thinking about moving your hard earned players too isn’t truly redundant you simply need to take a pass and find one that is.
Service; Bookies can’t settle for anything less than top notch customer service and support which must consist of well trained, all English speaking wagering clerks and customer support personnel.
Software; When it comes to bookmaking software bookies MUST try before they buy! Any top quality per head service will not only provide bookies with a demo of the software, but most will actually offer bookies a free trial or test period of at least 1 week. Before settling on any bookie software/per head services provider bookies must test out the capabilities of the software.
Sharp Lines: Let’s face it, a PPH service could have the best of the best for all of the above but if they don’t provide a sharp and competent line service, agents won’t be around too long.
These are just a few of the items that must be on a bookies checklist when they are looking to make a move to a pay per head service. So be careful when choosing.
